xcelNet offers fast, efficient, cost effective dial-up access NATIONALLY to the Business community. Dial-up access is at 14.4kbps,28.8kbps,33.6kbps, 56kbps. We only use Digital Switches for the best connectivity and agreeability with as many brands of modems out there. The servers are directly connected to the Internet Backbone - primarily at 2.048Mb/s.

We also use proxy servers to speed up access. Currently, we are maintaining a 8:1 modem ratio and are experiencing 90% utilisation at our peak periods - the bottom line is that you can get on when you want to.

1. UNLIMITED NATIONAL Dialup Access at 56kbps for users who need to have high availability of access without charges for time being considered. This account is for Credit Card Holders only - VISA (preferred), MasterCard, Diners and AMEX . 2. Monthly National Dialup Access at 56kbps where there are no limits placed on the number of hours you need to be online for or how much data you desire to download. This account is for Credit Card Holders only - VISA (preferred), MasterCard, Diners and AMEX . 3. Pre-purchase Dialup Access up to 56kbps and is brilliant for ad-hoc usage of the Internet.  All unused Pre-purchase hours will expire after 1 year. Once the hours are used or expire there is no access until further hours are purchased. Whenever you pre-purchase further hours, we take the remaining hours, plus the new hours, and give them all a new one year expiry date - this way you don't lose any hours and can have them extended. This allows you a low fixed cost access with no concern in running up "overtime" hours. Hours are purchased initially in a 20, 50 or 100 hour block and can be topped up at any time in 20, 50 or 100 hour blocks. 4. Permanent Dialup 24x7 Access up to 56kbps suitable to users who need to be connected 24x7 without any limitations. This service provides a dedicated phone number, Dedicated Line, Static IP address, dedicated port on the Network Access Server and installation costs at xcelNet. All equipment (modem, PC etc), phone lines and labour costs at the customer's premises is excluded. Usage is charged based on the amount of data transferred (in MegaBytes).
